Main research directions:

  Measurement of air pollutants and greenhouse gases on the ground, flight platforms and sounding balloon platforms, accurate positioning of pollution sources and independent research and development of emission factor analysis technology, with the sensitivity covering the range of one-billionth to one-trillionth; He has published more than 30 papers in Chinese and English, and has been invited to make a report at the annual meeting of European geochemistry;
        He has also participated in many international and domestic scientific experiments, and has been invited to give special academic reports in Peking University, Fudan University, Chinese Academy of Environmental Sciences, Institute of Atmospheric Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hefei University of technology, etc.

  He is mainly engaged in the simulation of transport and evolution of short-lived atmospheric pollutants at different spatial scales and the assessment of environmental effects. A total of 68 SCI papers have been published, mainly in the top core journals of atmospheric environmental science including Journal of Geophysical Research-Atmosphere, Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics, Environmental Sciences and Technology and so on. At the same time, as a co-author, he published one paper separately in Nature and PNAS.
        He has been supported by the outstanding youth fund of the National Natural Science Foundation and won the 12th National Youth geographic science and technology award. He has presided over or participated in many national research projects and international cooperation projects. Also a member of the evaluation committee of the National Natural Science foundation and doctoral program of the development center of degree and postgraduate education of the Ministry of education.

Research directions:
  She has been engaged in the research of environmental science and engineering, climate change, air pollution diffusion model, air quality management system and prediction and other fields. She also co-authored the book “Regulatory Atmospheric Diffusion Model” and published more than 30 academic papers.
        Dr. Sheng Xiangyu is a distinguished expert of the environmental simulation Committee of the Ministry of environment of China. Visiting professor of Beijing Normal University, Chongqing University and Kunming University of science and technology. British Royal Chartered physicist (CPhys), senior professional member of the Royal Meteorological Society (FRMetS), professional member of the British Physical Society (MInstP), a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv)and Chartered Engineer (CEng), and a member of Newnham Associates of Newnham College Cambridge University.
        Dr. Sheng Xiangyu was a member of the Steering Committee on environmental industry of the UK Trade and Investment Agency (2007-2013). She also served as vice chairman of the Federation of professional associations of Chinese scholars studying in the UK. She was a co-founder(2000) of All Britain-China Resources and Environment Association ( UK-care) and served as chairman (2002-2005).
